Pranburi to Bangkok Private Van with Driver from ฿4,600

A private van with driver from Pranburi back to Bangkok costs ฿4,600 per trip for a Toyota Commuter and ฿11,000 per trip for a Toyota Alphard — that is the charter price per vehicle one way, not per person, and it includes the driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water on board. The fare table distance is 255 km and the drive takes roughly 3.5 to 4 hours, following Phetkasem Road past Hua Hin, Cha-am and Phetchaburi before joining Rama II Road into Bangkok; on a Sunday evening or at the end of a long weekend, allow about an hour more. We pick up at Pranburi beachfront resorts, Naresuan Beach, Pak Nam Pran, the Khao Kalok area or in Pranburi town, and drop at any home, hotel or at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports for the same price. On travel day you tap "I'm at the pickup point" on your trip page, the driver comes to where you are standing and confirms with your 4-digit pickup code. A 50% deposit confirms the van and the balance is paid on the day. Book on LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719.

Market

Pak Nam Pran fish market

The fishing village at the Pranburi river mouth, with stalls selling seafood straight off the boats. Busiest in the morning, so it suits a stop before you set off — bring a foam box or cooler.

Hua Hin

Hua Hin

About 30 km north of Pranburi and directly on the way home. Good for lunch, a walk through Chatchai Market or picking up gifts before the run up Phetkasem Road to Bangkok.

Cha-am

Cha-am

A long beach right beside Phetkasem Road, with seafood restaurants and souvenir stalls along the sand. A useful mid-journey leg stretch that needs no detour at all.

Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park (Khao Wang), Phetchaburi

Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park (Khao Wang), Phetchaburi

A hilltop palace above Phetchaburi town with views across the whole city, served by a hill tram. Always check the entry fee and opening hours before you go, as they change.

Amphawa Floating Market, Samut Songkhram

Amphawa Floating Market, Samut Songkhram

A canalside floating market that runs from afternoon into the evening on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Thai public holidays. A short detour off Rama II Road — check the days and hours before you go, as festival periods differ.

Maeklong Railway Market

Maeklong Railway Market

A fresh market whose stalls sit across the railway tracks; traders fold their awnings back as each train passes. Train times can change, so ask at the market itself. Parking is tight and the driver will find the nearest spot.

Why book this route with us

Pickup at the resort door, not out on the main road

Most resorts along Pranburi Beach, Naresuan Beach, Pak Nam Pran and the Khao Kalok area let the van drive in to the lobby, so nobody carries bags far. For a villa down a narrow lane, send a Google Maps pin first and we will confirm access.

฿4,600 per vehicle, one way

฿4,600 per trip for a Toyota Commuter and ฿11,000 for a Toyota Alphard, including the driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water. The price is per van, not per passenger.

Airport drop-off at the same price as the city

Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang cost the same as a home or hotel drop in Bangkok. Send us your departure time and we will work back from it so the drive and airport check-in both fit.

Stop in Hua Hin, Phetchaburi or Amphawa on the way

The one-way price covers a direct run into Bangkok. For one or two short stops along the route, tell us before booking so the extra time is planned in; for several stops or longer visits, an hourly charter quote works better.

Pick the van by group and luggage

A Commuter takes up to 9 passengers with 8 large bags, or 12 passengers with 3 bags. An Alphard suits up to 6 passengers travelling light. Send your passenger and bag count and we will confirm which model fits.

Travel tips for this route

  1. For a flight from Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, leave Pranburi at least 6 hours before departure — 3.5 to 4 hours of driving plus check-in and a traffic buffer. Send your flight number and we will work out the pickup time with you.
  2. On Sunday evenings and at the end of long weekends, Phetkasem Road around Phetchaburi and inbound Rama II Road both jam. If you can choose, leave Pranburi before midday or after 7pm and save roughly an hour.
  3. To take fresh seafood home, stop at the Pak Nam Pran market before 9am, bring your own foam box or cooler, and tell the driver in advance so rear space is kept clear.
  4. The one-way price is for a direct run into Bangkok. If you want several stops or longer visits along the way, tell us before booking and we will quote an hourly charter instead — better value and no clock-watching.
  5. Travelling with young children? Give every child's age when you book: under 4 needs a child seat, 4 to 12 a booster, at ฿300 per seat per booking. We fit them before we reach you.
  6. Send Google Maps pins for both the Pranburi pickup and the Bangkok drop-off when you book. Many beach properties have similar names at the end of different lanes, and a pin gets the driver to the right one first time.

What's included

  • Professional driver who knows the route
  • Fuel + expressway and motorway tolls
  • Chilled water on board · child seat on request
  • Parking fees everywhere · light snacks on board
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much is a private van from Pranburi to Bangkok?

฿4,600 per trip for a Toyota Commuter and ฿11,000 per trip for a Toyota Alphard. That is the charter price for the whole vehicle one way, not per person, and it includes the driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water on board.

How far is Pranburi from Bangkok and how long does it take?

The fare table distance is 255 km and the drive takes about 3.5 to 4 hours, running up Phetkasem Road past Hua Hin, Cha-am and Phetchaburi before joining Rama II Road. On a Sunday evening or at the end of a long weekend, allow roughly an hour more.

Where in Pranburi can you pick us up?

Anywhere in the area: beachfront resorts on Pranburi Beach and Naresuan Beach, Pak Nam Pran, the Khao Kalok area, or in Pranburi town. Send a Google Maps pin when you book, and for a villa down a narrow lane we will check van access first.

Can you drop us at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, and does that cost more?

Both airports cost the same as a home or hotel drop-off in Bangkok. Send your departure time and flight number and we will work back from them so the drive and check-in both have enough margin.

What does the price include, and what is not included?

It includes the driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water. Charged separately: attraction entry fees, meals, boat tickets, child or booster seats at ฿300 per seat per booking, overtime at ฿600 per hour for a Commuter and ฿1,300 for an Alphard, and driver accommodation on a multi-day trip, which we state in the quote.

Should we take the Commuter or the Alphard?

Take the Commuter if your group is over 6 people or has several large bags, and the Alphard if you are up to 6 travelling light and want the more comfortable ride. A Commuter carries up to 9 passengers with 8 large bags, or 12 passengers with 3 bags; the Alphard is the VIP option with soft reclining seats. Send your passenger and bag count and we will confirm the right model.

Is the return trip from Bangkok back to Pranburi the same price?

Yes — the return leg is the same, ฿4,600 for a Commuter and ฿11,000 for an Alphard per trip, because we keep vans in the area. You can book both legs at once: send the dates and times for each and we will send a quote before you confirm.

How do we book and how much is the deposit?

Book on LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719, and a 50% deposit confirms the van with the balance paid on travel day. Send your date, time, Pranburi pickup point, Bangkok drop-off, and passenger and bag count; we confirm the price and send your trip page link. The trip page shows your driver's name, the plate number and your 4-digit pickup code.
