Tips for the festival nights
EDC Thailand is for ages 20 and over. Bring your real passport or Thai ID card: photocopies and photos on a phone are not accepted at the gate.
At the January 2026 edition the gates were open 15:00–24:00 and there was no re-entry. Check the official EDC Thailand app for the December times.
Thousands of people leave at midnight and the roads around Bang Tao fill up. Agree on a pickup point with the driver before you go in.
Save your trip link on your phone and keep some battery for the walk out.
Send the driver your hotel's exact map pin: many Phuket hotels have similar names.
Staying in Patong, Karon or Kata? Allow 30–40 minutes each way and book enough hours for the ride back.

Where is Rhythm Park and how far is it?
Rhythm Park is near Boat Avenue in the Laguna area of Bang Tao, Cherngtalay. It is about 18 km (25 minutes) from Phuket Airport, 17 km (about 30 minutes) from Patong and 2 km from the Bang Tao hotels in normal traffic.
Is this the official EDC shuttle?
No. Kingtocar is an independent private transfer company, not connected with EDC. The festival sells its own shuttle; we offer a private van for your group only, from your own hotel and at your own times.
Can the driver wait until the music ends?
Yes. Book enough hours for your night: 10 hours from a 14:30 pickup covers the ride back after midnight. If you stay longer, each extra hour is ฿300 for a Commuter or ฿600 for an Alphard.
How do I find my van after the show?
Open your trip link: it shows the van on a live map with the driver's name and plate. Tap "Call the car" to tell the driver you are ready, move the pin or send a message; messages are translated automatically.
How do I book and pay?

Commuter or Alphard?
The Toyota Commuter VIP seats 9–13 with room for luggage and suits most groups. The Alphard seats 6–7 in captain seats for a quieter, more private ride. Prices are per vehicle, so sharing a Commuter keeps the cost per person low.
