Heroines Monument
The monument roundabout on Thepkrasattri Road in the middle of the island, a landmark on the drive south from the airport. Traffic is often heavy in the morning and evening.
Wat Chalong (Wat Chaiyathararam)
Phuket's best-known temple, close to the road down to Rawai. A stop can be added if you tell us in advance. Dress modestly when visiting.
Rawai Beach
A beach on the south of the island and the departure point for longtail boats and speedboats to nearby islands, with seafood restaurants along the road. The water is shallow with many moored boats, so it is not really a swimming beach.
Rawai sea gypsy village
An Urak Lawoi community beside Rawai Beach. People live here, so be respectful when walking through and ask before taking photos.
Nai Harn Beach
A curving sandy beach west of Promthep Cape with Nai Harn Lake behind it. Waves are strong in the monsoon season, so check the warning flags before swimming.
Windmill Viewpoint
A viewpoint on the road between Nai Harn and Ya Nui beaches, looking over the west coast. Tell us in advance if you want a photo stop.
Promthep Cape
The southern tip of Phuket and a famous sunset spot. It gets crowded in the evening, so it is best planned as a separate trip.
