Toyota Commuter
Fuel + tolls + driver + water included
A private van with driver from Surin back to Bangkok costs ฿7,000 per trip for a Toyota Commuter and ฿13,000 per trip for a Toyota Alphard. That is the charter price per vehicle one way, not per person, and it covers the driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water on board. The fare table distance is 428 km and the drive takes about 6 to 7 hours including rest stops, depending on the pickup point and traffic. The road home runs west on Route 226 through Buriram to Nakhon Ratchasima, then joins the Friendship Highway through Saraburi into Bangkok. We pick up at hotels and guesthouses in Surin town, at Surin railway station and at any other address in the town district. We drop at any home, condo or hotel in Bangkok, or at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports for the same price. If you are catching a flight, send the flight number and departure time so we can work out when to leave Surin and still leave room for check-in. On travel day you tap the button to say you are at the pickup point on your trip page, the driver comes to where you are standing and confirms with your 4-digit pickup code. A 50% deposit confirms the van and the balance is paid on the travel day. Book on LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719.

A weaving village known for traditional gold-brocade silk, about 10 km from Surin town, so you can watch the looms and buy a length of silk before setting off. Check the weaving group's opening hours before you go.

The annual festival in Surin town with elephant parades and shows, held in November. If you are heading back to Bangkok during it, hotels and town traffic are busier than usual. Check the festival dates before planning.

A five-tower Khmer brick sanctuary with a finely carved lintel, about 35 km east of Surin town — the opposite side from the road to Bangkok, so allow about an extra hour and a half if you want to see it. Check the admission fee and opening hours before you go.
A learning centre about elephants and the Kuy people in Tha Tum district, about 60 km north of Surin town and not on the road home, so allow about two and a half extra hours. Check the admission fee and show times before you go.

The first sizeable city on the way home, about 85 km from Surin on Route 226, with restaurants, coffee shops and large petrol stations, and almost no detour — a good place to stretch your legs early in the drive.

A large city on the Friendship Highway about 190 km from Surin, with malls and restaurants close to the road — the usual mid-route break before the last stretch through Saraburi into Bangkok.
A Toyota Commuter is ฿7,000 per trip and a Toyota Alphard ฿13,000 per trip. That is the charter price per vehicle, including driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water. The return into Bangkok uses the same fare table as the outbound leg from Bangkok to Surin.
The driver waits outside your hotel or guesthouse at the agreed time and your bags go straight in, instead of hauling them to the bus terminal or waiting for a train on someone else's timetable. If your place is down a narrow lane, send a Google Maps pin when you book.
If you came up on the northeastern line and would rather drive back, we can meet you in front of Surin railway station. Tell us the scheduled arrival time when you book and allow about half an hour in case the train runs late. A wait much longer than that is charged as waiting time, which the team prices before you confirm.
We drop at the departures terminal of either airport for the same fare as a home or hotel in Bangkok. Send your flight number and departure time when you book and we will work out the departure time from Surin, allowing for the 428 km and for check-in.
Both cities sit right on Route 226 and the Friendship Highway, so a meal, a toilet break or a souvenir stop costs almost no detour. Mention it when you book so the driver can allow the time. For several stops or a long wait we will quote the hourly charter instead so you can compare before confirming.
The Toyota Commuter has 9–13 seats and suits larger groups, plenty of bags and boxes of souvenirs. The Toyota Alphard has 6–7 reclining captain seats, which is more comfortable over 428 km and suits families travelling with older relatives.

The fare table distance is 428 km and the drive takes about 6 to 7 hours including rest stops, depending on the pickup point and traffic. The road runs west on Route 226 through Buriram to Nakhon Ratchasima, then along the Friendship Highway through Saraburi, and the end of a long weekend can take longer.
The fare covers one pickup point inside the Mueang Surin district: your hotel or guesthouse, Surin railway station, the bus terminal or another address there. Send a map pin for the place when you book so the driver finds it. For a pickup outside the district, or a second pickup point, send the details when you book and the team will confirm the fare first.
Yes, at the departures terminal of either airport, for the same ฿7,000 per vehicle as a home, condo or hotel in Bangkok. Send your flight time when you book so the departure time from Surin allows for the distance, the traffic and your check-in.
Included: the whole vehicle with driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water on board. Charged separately: meals, accommodation, admission fees, a child seat or booster at ฿300 each per booking, and any stop or waiting time not agreed when you booked, which the team prices for you before you confirm.
Take the Commuter at ฿7,000 if you are 7 or more, or if you have a lot of bags and souvenirs: it seats up to 9 with 8 large bags, or 12 with 3 bags. Take the Alphard at ฿13,000 if you are 6 or fewer and want the reclining captain seats, which are easier on a long drive and suit older travellers.
Yes. Both directions come from the same fare table: ฿7,000 for a Toyota Commuter and ฿13,000 for a Toyota Alphard per vehicle, one way. You can book the two legs together or separately; if you book both, send the dates and times for each and we will confirm the combined total before you pay.
Yes. We can meet you in front of Surin railway station. Give us the scheduled arrival time when you book and allow about half an hour, as the northeastern line can run late. If the train is much later than planned, message the driver from the chat on your trip page; a long wait is charged as waiting time, quoted by the team before you confirm.
The deposit is 50% of the fare, with the balance paid on the travel day. To book, send your date and time, the pickup address in Surin, your destination in Bangkok, the number of passengers and the number of bags on LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719. The team then creates the booking and sends you the booking number and the booking page on our website. Cancel at least 3 days before travel for a full refund of the deposit.
Yes. Places on the road such as Buriram, Nakhon Ratchasima and Pak Chong are short stops with almost no detour; mention them when you book so the driver can allow the time. Prasat Sikhoraphum and Ban Ta Klang sit off the road home and need extra time. For several stops or a long wait, the team will quote the hourly charter so you can compare before confirming.
