Rong Kluea is busiest from morning to midday and the best stock goes early. Leaving Bangkok at 3 or 4am puts you there by seven with plenty of browsing time.
If crossing at Khlong Luek, always verify current opening hours and document requirements with the relevant authorities before travelling, as rules change.
