Toyota Commuter
Fuel + tolls + driver + water included
A private van with driver from Trang back to Bangkok costs ฿17,200 per trip for a Toyota Commuter and ฿34,000 per trip for a Toyota Alphard. That is the charter price per vehicle one way, not per person, and it covers the driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water on board. The fare table distance is 834 km and the drive takes about 11 to 13 hours including rest stops, depending on the pickup point and traffic. The road home leaves Trang on Route 403 through Huai Yot to Thung Song, climbs north on Route 41, the Asian Highway, past Chumphon, then follows Phetkasem Road through Prachuap Khiri Khan, Hua Hin and Phetchaburi into Bangkok. We pick up at hotels and guesthouses in Trang town, at Trang railway station, at Trang airport and at any other address in the town district. We drop at any home, condo or hotel in Bangkok, or at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports for the same price. If you are catching a flight, send the flight number and departure time so we can work out when to leave Trang and still leave room for check-in; for an early-morning departure it is easier to travel the day before than to drive through the night. On travel day you tap the button to say you are at the pickup point on your trip page, the driver comes to where you are standing and confirms with your 4-digit pickup code. A 50% deposit confirms the van and the balance is paid on the travel day. Book on LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719.

A water cave in Huai Yot district that you enter by small boat under the limestone, about 33 km from Trang town and right on Route 403, the road out of Trang towards Thung Song, so a morning stop costs almost no detour. Check the admission fee and opening hours before you go.

A junction town in Nakhon Si Thammarat province about 75 km from Trang, where Route 403 meets Route 41, the Asian Highway. It has restaurants, coffee shops and large petrol stations, which makes it a natural first break on the drive home.

A sizeable city on Route 41 about 374 km from Trang, roughly four and a half hours of driving, and the most convenient mid-route break on this road. There are plenty of roadside restaurants and petrol stations to choose from.

A small hill in the middle of Prachuap Khiri Khan town with steps up to a view over Prachuap bay, about 549 km from Trang and only a short way off Phetkasem Road, so it works as an afternoon leg-stretch. Check the opening hours before you go, and mind the monkeys on the staircase.

A pier and beach about 40 km west of Trang town, the opposite side from the road to Bangkok, so allow about an extra hour and a half if you want to stop. Boats to Koh Muk and the Emerald Cave leave from this coast, but the van cannot cross to the islands and boat fares are not part of the charter.

The end of the southern railway on the Andaman side, a century-old wooden station painted yellow and orange, about 24 km south of Trang town — the opposite direction from the road to Bangkok, so allow about an extra hour if you want photographs before you leave.
A Toyota Commuter is ฿17,200 per trip and a Toyota Alphard ฿34,000 per trip. That is the charter price per vehicle, including driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water. The return into Bangkok uses the same fare table as the outbound leg from Bangkok to Trang.
The driver waits outside your hotel at the agreed time, or we can meet you at Trang railway station or Trang airport, as all of them sit inside the Mueang Trang district. It is a practical way home if your flight was cancelled. If your place is down a narrow lane, send a Google Maps pin when you book.
We drop at the departures terminal of either airport for the same fare as a home or hotel in Bangkok. Send your flight number and departure time when you book and we will set the departure time from Trang, allowing for the 834 km, for city traffic and for your check-in.
Your bags stay in the same van from Trang to your door in Bangkok, with no change at a bus terminal and no lifting luggage on and off a train. You leave at the time you agreed with us rather than on someone else's timetable.
All three sit right on the road home, so a meal, a toilet break or a souvenir stop costs almost no detour. Mention it when you book so the driver can allow the time. For several stops or a long wait we will quote the hourly charter instead so you can compare before confirming.
The Toyota Commuter has 9–13 seats and suits larger groups with plenty of bags. The Toyota Alphard has 6–7 reclining captain seats, which is easier over 834 km and suits families travelling with older relatives or small children.
Photos marked “Real photo” were taken on actual KINGTOCAR transfers and in the vehicles used for them. Passengers’ faces and personal details are blurred for privacy.
A Toyota Commuter is ฿17,200 per trip and a Toyota Alphard ฿34,000 per trip. That is the charter price per vehicle one way, not per person, and it covers the driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water.
The fare table distance is 834 km and the drive takes about 11 to 13 hours including rest stops, depending on the pickup point and traffic. The road leaves Trang on Route 403 through Huai Yot to Thung Song, climbs north on Route 41 past Chumphon, then follows Phetkasem Road through Prachuap Khiri Khan, Hua Hin and Phetchaburi, and the end of a long weekend can take longer.
The fare covers one pickup point inside the Mueang Trang district: your hotel or guesthouse, Trang railway station, Trang airport, the bus terminal or another address there. Send a map pin for the place when you book so the driver finds it. For a pickup outside the district, such as Kantang or Pak Meng, or a second pickup point, send the details when you book and the team will confirm the fare first.
Yes, at the departures terminal of either airport, for the same ฿17,200 per vehicle as a home, condo or hotel in Bangkok. Send your flight time when you book so the departure time from Trang allows for the 834 km, the traffic and your check-in. For a flight that leaves very early in the morning, it is easier to travel up the day before.
Included: the whole vehicle with driver, fuel, expressway tolls and bottled water on board. Charged separately: meals, accommodation, admission fees, boat fares to the islands, a child seat or booster at ฿300 each per booking, and any stop or waiting time not agreed when you booked, which the team prices for you before you confirm.
Take the Commuter at ฿17,200 if you are 7 or more, or if you have a lot of bags and souvenirs: it seats up to 9 with 8 large bags, or 12 with 3 bags. Take the Alphard at ฿34,000 if you are 6 or fewer and want the reclining captain seats, which are easier over 834 km and suit older travellers and small children.
Yes. Both directions come from the same fare table: ฿17,200 for a Toyota Commuter and ฿34,000 for a Toyota Alphard per vehicle, one way. You can book the two legs together or separately; if you book both, send the dates and times for each and we will confirm the combined total before you pay.
The van cannot cross to the islands. Koh Muk and the Emerald Cave are reached by boat from the coast, and boat fares are not part of the charter. If you want an island day first, keep it as a separate day and book the van back to Bangkok for the day after. If you would rather have the van take you to the pier and wait, that is quoted as an hourly charter and the team will price it for you to compare.
The deposit is 50% of the fare, with the balance paid on the travel day. To book, send your date and time, the pickup address in Trang, your destination in Bangkok, the number of passengers and the number of bags on LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719. The team then creates the booking and sends you the booking number and the booking page on our website. Cancel at least 3 days before travel for a full refund of the deposit.
Yes. Places on the road such as Thung Song, Chumphon, Prachuap Khiri Khan and Hua Hin are short stops with almost no detour; mention them when you book so the driver can allow the time. Pak Meng and Kantang lie on the other side of Trang and need extra time. For several stops, a long wait or a night on the way, the team will quote the hourly charter so you can compare before confirming.
