Ao Suan Yai
A long curved beach in the north of Koh Mak lined with resorts, good for a last morning swim. Arrange resort transport to the pier in time for your sailing.
Ao Kham
A bay on Koh Mak's west side, good for swimming and sunsets. If your boat leaves in the morning, keep this for the evening before you travel.
Laem Sok pier
The mainland pier south of Trat town where boats from Koh Mak and Koh Kood land. This is where the driver waits; vans do not cross to the island.
Ko Chang Naval Battle Memorial, Laem Ngop
A memorial to the 1941 naval battle, about 20 km the other side of Trat from Laem Sok. Tell us at booking if you want the detour, and check opening times before you go.
Trat town
A small town about 30 km from the pier with markets and restaurants, a good meal stop before the long drive. If your boat docks late in the day, a night in Trat and an early start is easier.
Chanthaboon Waterfront
The old riverside quarter of Chanthaburi with wooden houses and long-running eateries, right on the way back to Bangkok. A lunch stop if time allows; tell us when booking.

Where is the pickup? Can the van come to Koh Mak?
Vans do not cross to the island. The driver waits at Laem Sok pier for the sailing you tell us. On Koh Mak, use your resort transfer or a local pickup to reach the island pier.
Is the boat included? What does the fare cover?
Boat tickets are not included. The fare is for the whole vehicle with driver, fuel, tolls and drinking water. Boat tickets, island transport, meals, child seats and stops not agreed in advance are separate.
Should we take the Commuter or the Alphard?
For a drive of about 5 hours we suggest the Alphard at ฿12,000 if there are 6 to 7 of you and comfort matters most. For a larger group or a lot of luggage, the Commuter at ฿6,500 seats 9 to 13 and carries more. Tell us your luggage so we can confirm the space before you book.
Is a drop at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang the same price?
Yes, the same fare covers a home or hotel in Bangkok as well as Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airport. Send your flight number when booking so the team can build in enough time.
How do I book?

The team confirms the vehicle and total, a 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is paid on the day. Cancel at least 3 days before pickup and the deposit is refunded in full.
Can we stop for a meal in Trat or Chanthaburi?
Yes. Tell us the stop when booking and the team checks the route and timing, then confirms the terms with you first, because some stops mean a detour or a longer wait.
Is the return trip, Bangkok back to Koh Mak, the same price?
Yes. Bangkok to Laem Sok and Laem Sok to Bangkok cost the same, Commuter ฿6,500 and Alphard ฿12,000 per vehicle, because we keep vehicles at both ends. You can book both legs at once.
