Why book this route with us

084-709-3719

An evening food trip, home in comfort

Street-food stalls open after sunset, and there is no hunt for a taxi late at night on crowded roads.

A flat fare per vehicle

฿1,500 for a Commuter or ฿3,500 for an Alphard, including driver, fuel, tolls and confirmed parking, priced per vehicle rather than per person.

Drop-off at Odeon Circle

Stopping on Yaowarat Road is hard in the evening, so the driver uses the Chinatown Gate or another nearby point vehicles can reach.

Temples and old lanes close together

Wat Traimit, Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, Sampeng and Talat Noi are walkable or easy to link on an hourly charter.

The same price from the airport

Land at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang and go straight to a Chinatown hotel at the same price as a city ride.

Good for groups and families

The Commuter seats 9–13 for a group food crawl; the Alphard seats 6–7 for families who want a comfortable ride.

Travel tips for this route

  1. Arrive after 6 pm for street food; most stalls open after sunset.
  2. Yaowarat Road is very congested in the evening, so getting out at Odeon Circle and walking is often faster.
  3. Save the pickup pin your driver sends, because vehicles cannot wait on Yaowarat Road.
  4. Carry cash and small notes for stalls, and check the closing day of any shop you plan to visit.
  5. Dress respectfully in temples and remove shoes where asked.
  6. To see Talat Noi or Sampeng by day and stay for dinner, an hourly charter is easier.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much is a private van from a Bangkok hotel to Chinatown?

The one-way fare is THB 1,500 for a Toyota Commuter or THB 3,500 for a Toyota Alphard per vehicle, including driver, fuel, tolls and confirmed parking.

How much is it from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Chinatown?

THB 1,500 one way for a Commuter or THB 3,500 for an Alphard per vehicle, the same as a city ride. From Suvarnabhumi it is about 30–35 km, usually 40–70 minutes.

How long is the drive to Yaowarat?

About 7–10 km from Sukhumvit or Siam, usually 20–45 minutes; evenings and weekends can take longer.

Can the van drop us in the middle of Yaowarat Road?

Stopping on Yaowarat Road is hard in the evening. The driver uses the closest point vehicles can reach, such as Odeon Circle or near Wat Traimit, and agrees the pickup point first.

What does the fare include?

The vehicle with driver, fuel, tolls and planned parking. Meals, admission and unplanned stops are not included.

How do I book and how much is the deposit?

The deposit is 50%. Book on LINE @kingtocar, on the website or by calling 084-709-3719; the deposit confirms the vehicle, the balance is paid on the day of travel, and cancelling at least 3 days ahead returns the full deposit.

Should we choose a Commuter or an Alphard?

Choose the Commuter (9–13 seats) for 7 or more people or a lot of luggage, and the Alphard (6–7 seats) for 2–5 people who want a quieter, more comfortable ride. Not sure? Send your group size and bags on LINE and we will suggest one.

Is the return from Chinatown the same price?

Yes. The ride back to a Bangkok hotel or the airport costs the same. If you want the vehicle to wait while you eat, choose an hourly charter from 3 hours: THB 2,400 for a Commuter or THB 6,000 for an Alphard.

On a full-day charter, what if we go over the time or distance?

If the van and driver stay with your group all day (same-day return or sightseeing stops), packages start at 3 hours · 90 km (Commuter ฿2,400 / Alphard ฿6,000). Extra time is ฿600 per hour for the Commuter or ฿1,300 per hour for the Alphard, and extra distance is ฿25/km (Commuter) or ฿45/km (Alphard). Entrance tickets are extra, and if you add stops or change plans along the way, we always tell you the price difference first. One-way transfers (Commuter ฿1,500 / Alphard ฿3,500) are a fixed fare with no extra time or distance charges.
